My life flight or Envolée in French started at the age of 5 playing the cello. The discovery of Rock with Rush motivated the switch to percussion at age 12. While performing the A Minor concerto for violin on marimba and playing fast entertaining pieces such as The Flight of the Bumble Bee by Korsakov or Fantasy Impromptu by Chopin on mallets my heart kept being pulled towards pop-rock and the Musical Starmania later adapted in English as “Tycoon” by Tim Rice playing on the radio. I was to interview the author Luc Plamondon at the world premiere of Notre Dame de Paris the French Musical in 2000 for the MusiMax network. Before the glamorous entertainment TV days, there was, as a student, the discovery of the Latin tinge in music that called me and kept me coming back for more.

1987 a musicology field trip for my University of Montreal thesis was the beginning of this journey leading to interviews 33 years later with the original members of the Buena Vista Social Club for the documentary Cuba: la révolution musicale (2001 Canadian Juno award nomination) and an in-depth interview with Compay Segundo during the release of the album Las Flores de la Vida. Discussions and discoveries of the Cuban diaspora’s music and political reality lead to interviews with Emilio and Gloria Estefan during the release of the 2000 album North American release of the album Alma Caribeña.

Through Musical documentaries I was able to combine my passions for Music and visual art. After a certificate from the BBC I embarked on the Classical Chronicle series on the footstep of my classical idols from back to Puccini. The Bravo! series Women of music featuring high profile classical performers and filed throughout Europe was the culminating point of this documentary production era.
With Vegas entertainer George Salomon
The Entertainment era kicked off with accompanying Vegas entertainer George Solomon followed by Jeff Trachta for whom I worked on his show arrangements.

In the spring of 2023, I was diagnosed with an acute case of Multiple Sclerosis. Teaching Music, playing drums and percussions, and post-producing The Pop-Opera-Musical-Ballet LilYpada has given me the wings to walk again,
